Comments about Amphipod RunLite Waist Race Hydration Belt - 16 oz.:
I'm an amateur triathelete who recently shifted to 1/2 & Full Ironman Distances and, consequently, started running the required 12-26 miles (I used to run max of 10K without any water). At this distance (12-26 mi's), water is a must (for me), and I am not a fan of wearing anything I don't NEED while running, especially if it moves around, which tends to divert my focus (and gives me excuses to stop running).
After much research and 'customer review'-reading, I semi-confidently purchased this product (specifically the 2 x bottle, 16oz. version), knowing that I would be able to add another 2 x bottles (totaling 32 oz's of fluids) if needed, and that the included pouch seals with a zipper instead of velcro (the standard 32 oz. version of this product has a pouch which seals with velcro, and many reviewers remarked about the velcro opening during runs). As an added bonus, the belt itself has a mesh enclosure for a key (or two), to help prevent any jingling which would occur if keys were placed in the pouch.
I also liked the fact that bottles can be worn vertically or horizontally, although I have always worn them vertically.
My first run with the product was not particularly fun (I positioned the two bottles behind me and they constantly rotated to my sides/hips - which, I found, is where they stay without moving ;-)), but by the 2nd and 3rd runs it felt like I had been using the product for years!
I now have no excuse not to push my distance limits because I know I have enough fluids with/on me, plus, if you like gels, you can easily put one or two in the pouch, or add a gel bottle (sold separately) to the belt (in place of an added water bottle).
All in all, I have been running with the product for around one month, and have already enjoyed over 120 [happy] miles :-)

Comments about Amphipod RunLite Waist Race Hydration Belt - 16 oz.:
I've had this for about 1 year. The belt is comfortable and adjusts nicely. The bottles hold enough water for a good long run with good water flow and positive closing and opening. The storage compartment is good enough for gels and the like.
My biggest gripe is the locking system for the bottles. Though a very clever design, if you don't put the bottles in the right way, you will lose the bottle. The bottles can also be unusually difficult to pull out at times.
Too bad because I like having two smaller bottles rather than one large bottle. If I have a shorter run, I only use one bottle. Or, if I know water is available on the run, I can use just one bottle and refill and not carry the extra weight.

Great product to help extend my runs on hot days. Takes some getting used to but better than any other similar product i have tried.
