Comments about Timbuk2 Doctor Duffel Bag:
This is a great carry on bag! I used it primarily for my 3 year old and all his belongings. I carried DVD player with DVD's, change of clothes for him, pull-ups, lots of toys, 2 ipods, iphone, water, wallet, keys, pen & paper, socks. I love that you can stuff this bag and still have room for more. This bag is built for many years of great use.
Quality is what you expect from Timbuk2. Purchased the brown. Great color.

Comments about Timbuk2 Doctor Duffel Bag:
What can I say...it's a Timbuk2! Having been a long time fan of their bags, I couldn't resist picking one of these up. Man, I'm glad I did. What a fantastic (and totally practical) bag! Perfect for work, weekend trips, travel, gym, etc.
If you're looking for that "go to" bag...this is it. I can't wait to get some serious usage out of this awesome bag!

Comments about Timbuk2 Doctor Duffel Bag:
This is a fantastic bag for people who are looking for a one-bag carryon but do not want to pay $200 for the likes of RedOxx Air Boss, MEI, Patagonia MLC, etc products. The dimensions are perfect for carryon travel. It's light, weighs only 2.3 pounds according to my digital scale (compared to 4 pounds for the Air Boss).
Main drawback that I can see is that it doesn't have the classic Timbuk2 waterproof tarp lining. Also, this bag is described as having a "spring loaded top". Basically there is a wire/rod frame sewn into the top part of the bag that gives the mouth a bit of structure. This seems like a pretty good feature -- but my concern is that with heavy use, the wire/rods will eventually rip through the bag fabric. I poked around the wire quite a bit and didn't see any sharp edges or obvious weak points where this might happen. But since I only just purchased the bag, only time will tell.
