This one goes on every trip-Really satisfies. 4 Serving meal comes in 2 separate bags and will completely fill 2 very hungry backcountry skiers at the end of a 10 mile day (also recommend the Blueberry Cheesecake to top things off)

Despite what some reviews say, this is good. My family of 4 loves this stuff. We use it car camping, and we usually save it for the last night at camp before heading out in the morning, to make packing to leave easier. My wife, my two kids (5 and 6 yrs old) have plenty with one pack, and we always have some left over. It's delicious. We look forward to eating it, and I look forward to cooking it, since it is so easy. Watch out though: Don't use a wooden spoon to stir it with and leave it laying on the picnic table...the cheese dries on it hard and is difficult to clean. Make sure to rinse or wipe your stirring/serving spoon right away. We're planning on going backpack camping to Bear Island at Hammocks Beach State Park, NC this summer, where you're not allowed to have open fires for cooking. Some Mountain House meals and Esbit stoves should work well together. Also try the Mountain House Beef Stroganoff. We like it too.

The only drawback was the powdered cheese immediately sticks to the stirring implement, but that happens when reconstituting powdered cheese, in my experience. Great stuff. My fav MH entree. It's comfort food.

We bought this along with other Mountain House products for a weeks long hike in Utah. Three of us agreed and were very surprised that the meal had very little solids. It was mainly a soup.
