        I've been looking for something to take car camping with my wife and little kids that wasn't so much trouble to prepare. Cooking every meal can become laborsome. I got this to try at home before we bought a lot to take camping. It was really good, and filling. My kids ate it. Can definitely feed 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 small kids. It says it feeds four; if you're feeding four big hungry people, you may want to include some rolls or something.

            It was surprisingly good. I had never had these kind of meals before and didn't know what to expect. It was cold on our hike and a hot meal was great! You might want to add another aspect to dinner, with two people sharing it, it may not fill you up.

              I split this with my boyfriend on a 4 day trek in New Zealand and man, did it hit the spot! After the toughest day on the trail with the temperature quickly dropping, this tasty meal was like a warm treat for my soul. I immediately regained my strength and started out strong the next morning.

                  Wow - yeah, Mountain House has got this 'freeze-dried' food thing down .. to an art form! After hiking 11 miles with a 40 lb pack, this is it! Really needs nothing else - just add the boiling water per instructions, but do stir the food occasionally while you wait for it to 'cook'. Be sure to scrape the bottom also - you will be glad, and not get stuck with meat flavored croutons.
