Bought this seat for my wife at the same time I bought my Serfas Dual Density seat -- and again, we cannot stop raving about how great this seat actually is!

Before we got this seat, my wife would have to call our rides short due to pain, soreness, and numbness on her behind and back. We bought this seat for her based on the reviews that others left, and they too are dead on!

Now she can ride all day with comfort + pain-free!

I purchased this seat based upon the specs to replace the stock seat that came with my cyclocross. And, boy am I happy with my purchase. I have a liberator on another bike & while it's design is similar, the Serfas Niva just fits me better. I've gone on two long rides over 20 miles & have commuted to work on this seat. My rumproast is a happy one! I'm planning a century with this seat~so I may report later. If you are looking for a quality saddle at a great price give this a try!

I'm a year-round commuter, and my favorite ride is a 25 y/o Bridgestone Altair, until recently sporting the women's seat with which I immediately replaced the stock seat. This was one of two recommended saddles, and I bought it because it was in stock when the other was not. Regardless of what the description says, there is no leather covering this - it it pure petroleum product. It also bit me where I do not choose to be bitten, so while its general shape was an improvement over my old seat, it was not something I wanted to ride on. I ordered the other - a Terry Liberator - paid more for it, and am liking my old bike more and more.

I had a stock saddle on my bike and was commuting to work twice a week (26mi round trip), I was miserable. As if biking to work is not already a chore, it was worse becuase I would get to work so thankful I could get of my seat.I dont make alot of money, but I decided that I needed to "splurge" on a new seat to make commuting to work easier. [$]is a splurge to me, and I am soooooooo happy!!! My lady area is not screaming in pain by the time I get to work and thats AMAZING cuz then I have to sit for another 8 hrs...I highly recommend this product for a commuter or even a weekend biker (I bike 30 mi on the beach and this seat gives me no probs), expecially if your looking to not pay $100 for a seat (however, if this seat is so amazing and its [$] the more expensive ones better make you feel like your floating or something...)If your considering...just buy this one...

I just got into biking--when I decided to start doing triathalons. The saddle situation seemed to be tough to figure out. I went through three different seats--either too hard (unisex), too heavy and squishy (end up feeling the hard material under the gel), or just not quite right size-wise. I ordered this saddle because of its specs without seeing it. It's perfect!!! I never feel pain from using this saddle, and it's light weight as compared to other mid-range saddles. Yeah Hooray!!!! Now I understand how folks can ride for miles and miles. The cover is lorica leather--which is a great imitation--feels great, easy to take care of, and well, not leather :)
