        Comments about G3 Alpinist Skins - Medium:

        These skins have some great features like the new tip which works great on really fat skis, but they just don't grip. These skins grip about as well as my old black diamond skins that are at least 8 years old and have 35% less surface area. 110mm skins should be able to climb an easy blue run without sliding backwards.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        They do not fit my ski tips

              Comments about G3 Alpinist Skins - Medium:

              These look like they would be great. They appear durable and the glue looks like it will be no problem.

              However, the one size fits all tip clips are too small to fit over the thick plastic tip protector on my Atomic TM:EX skis. And they are not spaced wide enough to clip on behind the plastic tip cover.

              So far I have not had a response to my email to G3 service after 5 days.

              Hope you have better luck. I will have to exchange these for something that fits my skis.

              Bottom Line: The Alpinist Skins are probably a fine product, but please tone down the advertised ability to fit virtually any ski.
