Comments about Mary Janes Farm Organic Black Beans and Rice:
A tasty and hearty vegetarian meal. A good Southwestern beans and rice dish that's well seasoned with just a little heat. Some added Tabasco sauce is needed for those who like it hotter. It also has a good mix of protein, fat, complex carbs and minerals.

Comments about Mary Janes Farm Organic Black Beans and Rice:
Tried the other Mary Jane Farm organic foods with some success, but this product was truly awful. If you ate paste in the first grade then you have a basic understanding of the consistency, and flavor of the beans and rice dish.
While as easy to prepare and lightweight as other products in the line, I can't recommend this for its lack of flavor, and for the fact that both myself and my hiking partner had uncomfortable stomach reactions after eating it.
It'll stick to your ribs, and whatever else it happens to touch on its way through your system.

Comments about Mary Janes Farm Organic Black Beans and Rice:
This is a hardy meal but best if you take some tortilla (as they suggest) to put the beans in - otherwise it's a bit much. Really good and tasty.
