Comments about Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Pants - Men's 32'' Inseam:
Like another reviewer, I had the same stitching problem happen to a pair I owned. I emailed MK and they said to take them back to the point of purchase[$]These are more of a casual pant and I don't consider myself hard on clothing, but I busted a hole near the knee. I wouldn't buy another pair. Stick with Carhartt's.

Comments about Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Pants - Men's 32'' Inseam:
It seems like some of the folks reviewing these just got a bogus pair or something. I've had these pants for a year now and have had none of the issues people here seem to have had. Like the title states, these are the best pair of pants I have ever purchased...I'm 34, 6 foot 2 inches, and have had lots of issues with pants over the years. Some aren't true to size...these are, some fall apart in a month...these don't, some pants have a hard time keeping things (change!) in the pocket...these don't. They are sturdy as hell, fit good, look great, and when compared to Patagonia or other "higher quality" brands seem to be priced reasonably. Lower priced, more mass produced brands like North Face or Columbia pale by comparison!

Comments about Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Pants - Men's 32'' Inseam:
these are a perfect fit in the legs, on the other hand, they fit three sizes to small on the waist. i wear a 32 and would have to buy at least a 35 to fit comfy

Comments about Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Pants - Men's 32'' Inseam:
I own two MK pants and I'd rate them average in terms of durability. Their fabrics are not as rugged as I like. Even cheaper pair of jeans would last much longer than MK.

These are my favorite pair of pants. You can wear them without washing them for a while. Mine haven't ripped at all yet and I've had them for about a year now and i doubt they ever will. Going to definitely buy more from this company.

Comments about Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Pants - Men's 32'' Inseam:
I have owned two pairs of these for the past two years (one of each color). These are my favorite non-work pants. The material is heavier, which I like, but suprisingly comfortable. The fit leaves me with nothing to complain about. Usually pants fit me tighter in the thigh, but these fit fine. The only reason for not giving it five stars is that the waist on the pair I wore the most has shrunk. Honest. At first I thought it was me, but after some comparison I realized it was the pants. They are all cotton. The second pair I've been more careful about drying and I've had no problems. I haven't had any of the stitching problems others have reported. They've been great for travelling and haven't frayed on any hikes, etc. After two years I just bought two more to replace the ones I have. Hope it helps.

Comments about Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Pants - Men's 32'' Inseam:
I'm in the UK and was recently in the Us and happened to see these and have now got several MK products. Simply put - these are the best trousers I have ever bought. They are bombproof and so comfortable. As we say over here they are the "badgers nadgers".
Nuff said.

Comments about Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Pants - Men's 32'' Inseam:
The waist on both pair that I own seem to be shrinking a lot. No I'm not expanding. The pants seem to be of average quality. I would recommend Carhartts over these for half the price. If you need something from Jackson get a coffee mug or something from Cloudveil.

These pants are bomber. Great sitting around a camp fire or sitting in the office. Def. worth the investment.

Comments about Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Pants - Men's 32'' Inseam:
These are good-looking pants with some great features--pockets are handy, double cuffs are durable, and they're a lightweight, flexible cotton canvas. I like the fact that they are a member of "1% for the Planet". The gusseted crotch is terrific. The problem I have with them is that on both pairs I own, the fabric around the seams tends to "pop out"--it looks like a sewing error and creates what most manufacturers would consider to be blemishes up and down the seams. Also, the belt loops are forming tiny holes where they are stitched to the pants. I love the way they look, but they are not as durable as Carhartts that I have had for several years...and they're almost twice the price.
