Comfortable and Stylish

I’m 5’5 with a 28in waist and skinny legs so it’s super hard finding any pants that fit. Especially when it comes to outdoor merchandise, usually when I get size XS they’re sometimes still too big lol. This is the first time in years that something fit so perfectly and comfortably. I don’t even need to tie the strings inside! Needless to say, I am extremely happy with these pants! Perfect for climbing and any other outdoor activities. I’m also a fan of tapered pants because they look clean and are easier to move around in. Definitely going to purchase more in the near future.

Shrinkflation comes to black diamond.

Terrible quality, the fabric is VERY thin - they significantly downgraded the build quality and fabric compared to the same model of these I have from 2 years ago.

Don't Ride a Bicycle in These

I've only worn these pants one day so far. I went on a long walk, rode my bicycle, and climbed at the gym. They are great for walking and climbing, but are a little too thick and warm for climbing indoors. They are super comfortable and the pockets are great! After riding my bicycle around 10 miles, the seat of the pants is already starting to pill! I will reserve these pants for outside climbing days in cool weather, or going places when I drive or walk. For comparison, any of my prAna pants with the original Stretch Zion material have held up to 5+ years of daily bicycle commuting.

Most comfortables pair of pants I have

Loved these! The fit was perfect, so I bought two more. The fabric feels soft, light, and breathable—very comfortable cotton. I'm 210 lbs and 5'10", and the size Large fits me just right.

Not durable

These pants are comfortable and affordable, but they do not hold up when worn to outdoor crags or even for regular gym climbing. I have bought two pairs in the last two years, and both have become riddled with holes after several months of use.

Sizing is off

I really wanted to like these but... the rise/crotch is just TOO LONG. Nobody needs that extra spacious 2-3" of length, I don't care if you're climbing or not. In order for these pants to sit comfortably just below my natural waist the crotch extends a ridiculously long way toward my knees. My wife has the womens version of this same pant and it fits better in the crotch than the mens.

New Version is a Step Back; the sizing is bad, false advertising

I am 6'2", with 32" waist athletic/climber build. The older version used to fit perfect, this one is waaay to wide, and quite a bit shorter. I measured the inseam and it was 28in on an M, when it is supposed to be 32. 5in! The waist measurement is closer to 34 than 31. 5. Absolutely ridiculous. I do not know who this fit is for but it is not for climbers.
