I just picked up the binto bar after seeing an add and thinking it looked like a good organizer. I just returned from a car camping trip with my family of 5 and put the binto bar to the test. First off- this thing is huge. It easily held all my camp kitchen equipment (minus the large coleman grill) and the food we were using that particular day. The individual bintos made organizing a snap and all the extra pockets kept everything else handy. A huge step up from the plastic tote I'd been using. It was a bit unstable when lightly packed so I modified it a bit by cutting a piece of plastic to put in the bottom to keep the corner posts in position. Other than that it performed beautifully. I may even use it on canoe trips if the portages are short and infrequent.

    This is camp kitchen nirvana for us. Binto organizes foods and supplies nicely. The work surface on top is great for light prep, putting out food buffet style, or just as a place to put "stuff". Surface isn't heavy duty, so don't try a lot of weight or heavy work. Handles make it easy to get in and out of car. Distributes weight well, so it's easy to carry. Strong enough to pile the family's sleeping bags and pads on top during travel. Another fantastic Kelty product

      We took this bag on a 6 night adventure in the maze district of Canyonlands, Utah. The binto boxes themselves work fine as handy color-coded storage bags. Zippers are not very strong and desert ravens were able to open the zippers and throw contents of the bags everywhere. The external storage case is terrible. The support structures are so flimsy that they can't even support the weight of the bag much less stuff on top. The external bag went straight to the garbage. Very disappointing, I had high hopes.
