        I have a tendency to get blisters during hiking, and these not only help cushion against that, but are also comfy, don't bunch up, regulate temperature well, and feel great! I plan to get several more pairs.

          You don't have to be a gym rat or an avid athlete to appreciate these socks. I'm a professional landscaper; I'm on my feet in work boots for many hours of each day on all sorts of terrain. These socks are very comfortable and most importantly - because they are pricey - extremely durable. I've had a dozen pairs for over seven years and they just keep on performing. They wash up beautifully and the cuffs have never unraveled - a real problem with many work socks. A+ rating for this Thorlo product.

            I LOVE these socks. I bought two pair about 1 1/2 years ago and they are still going strong. I believe them to be more comfortable than any other sock REI offers. I have tried both Smartwool and REI socks and while nice, they don't compare to these. These socks snug the foot around the arch, giving a slight sense of support, are warm, soft, and best of all, they don't pill like other socks. I wear them 4 to 7 days a week, and they have held up incredibly well.
