So, I got these b/c they're cheap, and I cannot stand clip-in pedals (guess you can call me old school, but growing up with platform pedals means I won't touch clip-ins). Well, these pedals offer decent grip... on one side. You see, they are slightly asymmetric, so one side grips decently, the other not so much. This means you have to be conscious of which side you plant your foot onto... very distracting on the trail. Buy hey, they're cheap!

I have used these pedals for over two years. They provide a good grip, made better by my Wellgo toegrips. They are light and sturdy. I have never had any problems with them, and I see no need to change them for any other pedal. Great pedal for the price!

Not a bad budget pedal. I thought I stumbled on a deal with the description of "grease guard", the WTB/ Suntour design of small ports at key locations to inject fresh grease into bearings. No, these have just ordinary caps on outboard side and pliable seals inboard- good enough for injecting grease,and for price paid, but not the great find I'd thought they would be.

This was a replacement for the resin pedals on my cannondale quick-6 I bought at REI. They broke in 2 months, split right in half. The replacement pedals are way too small for my feet, size 12, and I got used to them. Having to flip them for grip as your ride is very distracting. They just fell apart on a flat road and the bearings spilled out. Lost the pedal on the road had to keep riding 4 more miles on it. I would not recommend this for more than simple easy riding, and feet under size 10.

I don't bike very often but the pedals on my Trek were falling apart, so I was looking for something fairly lightweight to replace them. These pedals fit the bill nicely, and I had no problem getting them on.

I bought a pair of these for casual/commuter type riding (I'm living in Korea at the moment and don't have a car). I've been happy with them. They've been used almost daily for 9 months and I haven't had the durability issues mentioned in other reviews. And I'm not always gentle with my bike! I've noticed that when it's raining, the platform surfaces can seem a little slippery, but they still perform acceptably. When I'm doing longer recreational rides, I switch back to my clipless pedals and cycling shoes.

I am a college student just getting into mountain biking, and bought these pedals to replace my cheap plastic pedals which tore within a week of owning the bike. After installing the pedals, the bike was actually stolen and recovered and the bike had obviously been abused, but to my surprise, the pedals were still in excellent condition! I have been using them heavily every day, and am beyond satisfied with them! Great value. More than I expected!
