The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Wellgo ATB / BMX pedal:
Very stable, with great traction to hold your foot in place, but easy to bail out when you need to. They're also cheap so though you cant replace the pins (which are very durable) you can just replace the pedals.

These pedals rock! I put them on my freeride bike 2 years ago and they haven't broken.

Comments about Wellgo ATB / BMX pedal:
If you're only going to use these on light rails to trails or short recreational cycling, they should be fine. I would upgrade, though to some Wellgo M-21 ATB Pedals w/ toe clips for more serious bike commuting/distance touring.

Comments about Wellgo ATB / BMX pedal:
I've been using these on my Novara Buzz for a while now and got in a wreck last week. I loved the pedals, up until the point when I noticed the deep, index finger-wide gash on my shin that was bleeding profusely; caused by the spikes of my pedal gouging out my flesh. The same spikes have never allowed my feet to slip off the pedals though. LOL!

Deploy these pedals with the Wellgo MT-3 Toeclips with Straps and you'll have a decent set of pedals to start bike commuting.

Comments about Wellgo ATB / BMX pedal:
I am newer to off-road cycling than road cycling. I tried clipless pedals, but fell a lot with my feet in the clips, causing injuries. These pedals allow me to ride off-road but will get off the pedals when I'm about to fall over, making it safer for me. I like the prongs that stick up to keep my foot solid on the pedals in tough terrain.

Comments about Wellgo ATB / BMX pedal:
These pedals have replaced my previous platforms with Power Grips. I initially went looking for a temporary replacement to be used in rain and colder weather when the Power Grip straps wouldn't accommodate larger shoes. I was pleasantly surprised with the grip and nonslip aspects of this pedal, and don't think I'll bother to switch back.
The construction is solid (I recently took a pride-damaging fall in the rain, and they made it through with only minor scratches) and I am confident they'll last a long time.
If you are a serious mountain biker and will be hell on the pins, consider the Crank Brothers 5050; for the rest of us these pedals will do just fine.

Replaced my Wellgo MT-21 on my GT Transeo 2.0 which was a replacement for my Shimano SPD pedal.
I love it so far! Highly recommend it. Feels quite solid!

Comments about Wellgo ATB / BMX pedal:
I got rid of my clipless pedals after 3 years of use. I enjoy grabbing my helmet and going for a ride without having to wear special shoes. These pedals are great for commuting no foot slippage in the rain or on rough terrain.

Comments about Wellgo ATB / BMX pedal:
[...] efficiency is work output divided by work input. Therefore these HEAVY pedals do not increase efficiency. [...] BUT- these are here, right now for the patience-challenged. Go for it!
