Comments about Topeak Pannier DryBags - Pair:
I have used these panniers for one long distance tour. They kept the contents dry in a light rain and were tight and stable when on the bike. I have one major complaint. If you use the adaptors that are supplied for the tubing diameter of your rack, the locking mechanism sounds like it clicks when you mount the pannier on the bike, but when you hit a bump it jumps off. The first time one launched off my bike it nearly caused an accident when a car had to maneuver to avoid it. They each came partially off at subsequent bumps. I had to find a store that sold velcro straps so that I could secure them on the racks. If you use velcro to make sure they stay in place I think you'll be very happy with this product.

Comments about Topeak Pannier DryBags - Pair:
This pair of panniers is a good start; excellent volume, they keep your gear dry, etc. However, the handle straps on one came loose in my hand after just one week's light use, and the straps, in general, are poorly sewn.
Also, the hard-shell back makes it very difficult to carry these comfortable on one's person, even with the shoulder straps provided, causing bruises, scrapes, and just generally being a nuisance.
The locking mechanism at the top of the bags is GREAT...but begins to stick after a while.
Overall, it's a good pair of recreational panniers, if you ride only a couple of days out of your week, but I would not recommend them for use on a five-day-per-week commuting schedule, nor would I use them for a long road trip or back-country trip.
I'd recommend it to a hobby cyclist, but not someone like myself.
