Comments about Astral Buoyancy LDB PFD:
I tried a lot of PFDs before choosing the LDB. It is the ideal PDF for a SOT with the seat back. Very comfortable the first time out, very cool compared to other PFDs, and two respectable pockets. Never gets in the way when paddling.
I chose the yellow version with the reflective trim for higher visibility.

Comments about Astral Buoyancy LDB PFD:
I recently bought this PFD primarily for flatwater paddling. I've had it out on several hot and humid days and love the light feel. I am a big guy with a barrel chest (54"), and this is the first PFD I've worn in a long time that didn't make me feel like I would suffocate in it. I also really like the "Chimney Vent" chest strap that allows you to unzip the front while remaining secure; really nice when the sun is hot and the wind is non-existent! The low fit improves mobility.
The worst thing I could possibly say is that I wish the pockets were just a bit bigger, but that would just be whining. They are big enough to hold my GPS and camera at least!
