Comments about Lafuma RSX XL Padded Lounger:
I have tried several other recliners (portable) and this is the best one I have found! I suffer from "Sleep Apnea" and can't lie down to sleep. I sleep in a recliner at home and if I travel and sleep in a bed, I am miserable for several days after. This chair has literally been a life saver! I can now visit friends and stay in a motel without being "sleep deprived" the next day.[...] I can't express how pleased I am with my purchase!

Comments about Lafuma RSX XL Padded Lounger:
This is one of the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat/slept in. It was great to while just lounging around the campsite or sitting in the backyard. I even used it as living room furniture for a while. The only draw back is that if you are taking it camping, it is fairly large so it takes up a lot of room, but it is worth it when you make everyone else jealous that you have the best chair in camp.

Comments about Lafuma RSX XL Padded Lounger:
I love this chair so much I keep it in my living room most of the time and use it when I watch TV. It's much better for my back than the couch and when I go camping I can just grab it and take it along.
Comments about Lafuma RSX XL Padded Lounger:
After purchasing a couple of knock-offs and having all of them fail (weak frames), I was pleased to find an original Lafuma on sale. The superior design and materials are evident in the smooth operation. The seat material (Lafuma calls it a "mattress") with its lacing is very comfortable although I wished that it was more breathable.
Those who are as tall or taller than me (6' 2") may find that it is painful when their Achilles tendon resides on the footrest bar. I placed some foam pipe insulation on the bar for cushioning; not pretty but effective. I suppose that one could encase it in a fabric sleeve, but I am not a seamster.

Comments about Lafuma RSX XL Padded Lounger:
This is the most comfortable chair for outdoor use that I have ever owned. You'll feel like a king (or queen) when you sit down for the first time and recline in the summer sun. I didn't get the padded chair, can't see a need for pads when the chair is so comfortable without them. I like the mesh underneath because it breathes so well, I don't get all hot and sweaty sitting out in the sun for an extended period.

Comments about Lafuma RSX XL Padded Lounger:
We bought two of these. Loved 'em. Think of them as yard/deck furniture, not camping gear as they are bulky. Really great for stargazing. They sat out in the sun, the fabric weathered & wore out, which is fine, but here's the thing - we can't find anyone who sells a replacement. The frame is fine, I'm not interested in throwing it out, but I have to think a seat replacement kit is available somewhere. Any ideas?
