Comments about Sigma Sport Triled / Cuberider Combo Light Set:

      A good combo of lights.
What is great is that the front light has a built-in clip, so no clutter on the handle bar, and you can easily clip it to your clothes. So when I don't have a backpack, the back light easily fits in the pocket, and the front one can be clipped to my belt hook on my pants because it would be very bulky in the pockets.
What could be better is the brightness of the front light. It is sufficient, everyone will see you and you will see the road when it's dark. But when you ride in areas where there is twilight sometimes it is not bright enough to light the ground more than what is already light.
The back light uses non-standard batteries, but then again, almost all do these days as far as I know.

Comments about Sigma Sport Triled / Cuberider Combo Light Set:

The rear bracket broke after 1 month of use. It is a poor design with nothing more than a large rubber band that attaches to the seat stay. The front headlight does not stay secure on the handlebar. TRY ANOTHER BRAND!

Both lights mount easily and work well. The headlight isn't going to light up your path so much as let others know you are there. Although I am satisfied with the product, I am looking to upgrade the headlight with something much brighter. This will serve as a backup. Be sure to check REI.com reviews for just the headlight by itself.

Comments about Sigma Sport Triled / Cuberider Combo Light Set:

I bought it cuz it looked cool. It has the weakest ratchet on the plastic clip that attaches the light to the bar. I bought it for a backup light, but I never even got to use it. The thing flipped over the bar and hung on upside down after hopping over one curb. I couldn't tighten it enough and gave up.

Comments about Sigma Sport Triled / Cuberider Combo Light Set:

I use my bike year round to commute to work in MN. So, I need to trust my gear. I love the headlight. It is very bright and the click mount makes it very easy to attach and remove. However, I found the tail light to be lacking. The third time I used the set, the tail light fell right off my bike. I wasn't expecting the best for what I paid for this set, but I was expecting more than I got. Carefull with the tail light the mount is weak.

I have had issues with both the front and rear lights. The batteries that came with the light corroded and leaked all over the housing. The screw holding the rear light together fell out causing the light itself to fall off during a commute.

Comments about Sigma Sport Triled / Cuberider Combo Light Set:

Rear light mount is the simple rubber loop type. It never fell off, but it is actually slow and tricky to get it on/off. The curved base of mount failed after a few months. It failed gradually so I was able to notice the problem before I lost the light. I plan to combine it with old spare parts to keep the light, which is okay.

Also: Battery is weird size and not available in rechargeable version. For some reason rear light mount is very hard on finish of bike when used on frame.

So I went to put the tail light on my back of the bike and the setup comes with two rubber mounts. Both rubber mounts ripped apart as I tried to place them on the back of the bike. They either need to come with higher quality rubber straps or the mount that the you attach the bands to needs to have smooth, rather than sharp edges. The sharp edges cause the bands to rip apart. Would not recommend. I will be taking this back to REI and getting a different set up. I guess you get what you pay for.

Comments about Sigma Sport Triled / Cuberider Combo Light Set:

I have used the product twice. Both front and rear lights mount without tools which is nice. I use them so I can be seen by cars and pedestrians at night. They are bright enough for this purpose, although the headlight could not light my path sufficiently when I was in non-streetlit areas.

The fatal flaw of this system is the headlight's forward center of gravity and ill-conceived mounting device. The headlight tilts down after I hit one bump, dangles dangerously after a second bump swaying back and forth, and then I have to take on hand off my handlebars to stop it from falling off completely before I hit a third bump.

I would not recommend this to a friend unless that friend wants to ducktape it to their handlebars, or use it as a flashlight for reading in bed.

I plan to contact Sigma and ask them for advice for fixing this troublesome mount. Since I bought it in the garage sale I will either get help from Sigma or possibly find a more permanent way to mount it to my handlebars.
