The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about CatEye EL135 / TL-LD130 Combo Light Set:
First: I hit a curb at low speed and the headlamp ripped out of the removable mounting bracket assembly and now will no longer lock in place. I simply glued in into permanent position. But those depending on the removable mounting may want to think twice.
Overall, I like the package because the cost is low and it is all I need. The intensity of the lamp is good for visibility but not sufficient for seeing at night.

Comments about CatEye EL135 / TL-LD130 Combo Light Set:
First: I hit a curb and the headlight ripped/popped out of removable mounting bracket and would no longer lock back in place. I just glued the thing into permanent position but be warned it is flimsy if you actually plan to use the removable feature.
Secondly: I really like this combination set. Cheap, easy to install. Very nice. I just cruise around in the evening so the light is bright enough for me to be seen by other cyclists and pedestrians. I don't think it is bright enough to actually use for vision though.
I would recommend to a friend with caveats.

The attachment features are really easy to use - makes installing and removing a breeze. Quality seems to be great w/ good visibility.

Comments about CatEye EL135 / TL-LD130 Combo Light Set:
This light is very weak and is not designed for road use or trail rides. This light is designed as an additional marker light to be used with a real light source (min 10 lux(not to be confused with lumens)). I have seen local college students usings these on the road as a primary light source and to a person in a car you might as well be using a candle to light your way. Bicycles lights are about being seen as much as they are about seeing.

Comments about CatEye EL135 / TL-LD130 Combo Light Set:
Obviously it's a good light set, otherwise I wouldn't be buying a second one after breaking my front light in a bike accident. I have no complaints asides the fact that the front light's bulky nature makes it easy to break.

Comments about CatEye EL135 / TL-LD130 Combo Light Set:
I use this product for my bike, mostly riding home from studying at the library at night. But it is easy to use and doesn't take up much room in my bag. The mounts are a little confusing to assemble, but they work really well. This set is definitely worth your money if you want something easy that have a pretty good light for the money.

The front light is good, but don't mistake it for a true headlight.

I have gone through 2 now and have purchased a different product. The unit lasts as long as the first pairs of batteries. The good news is that is about 2 years. The product works great - it just does not seem to be able to endure the environment very well.

Comments about CatEye EL135 / TL-LD130 Combo Light Set:
My wife and I are diehard daily commuters. Our Cateyes have never failed. At night in rain the front light provides enough light (when adjusted properly) to see a safe distance and to be seen. The rear light flashes bright enough to be seen from at least 100 yards. Neither the front light nor the rear light strobe and flash so bright that they blind oncoming traffic. It provides the right amount to be seen, and to see when needed. Though they are not meant to be headlights, they can act as such when the paths get too dark to see.
We use them with rechargeable batteries and usually charge them every 3 months in the summer (longer for the taillight) and about once a month in the winter.
As an added bonus, they work great as packable backpacking lights. We never go hiking without them.

Comments about CatEye EL135 / TL-LD130 Combo Light Set:
This is a great light set for the price. Yeah, the headlight beam is not the brightest; it's not really suited for unlit road or trail riding. Additionally, a highly skilled rider will outrun the beam very easily. But for the average cicylist, or for use on sporadically-lit neighborhood streets, with the occasional foray into unlit areas, it's perfect.
