Have used for canoe camping. Good visibility, but I much prefer coated nylon dry bags (I use the Bell brand), as this kind punctures easily (as advertised).

I bought a number of the CLEAR Seattle dry bags 4-6 years ago and have used them continually.
Number 1 reason to buy this bag - IT IS SEE THROUGH! I cannot tell you how convenient that is when paddling. Who wants to yank out the contents of 3 dry bags to find that needed item?
The buckle seam finally let go about a year ago (in year #4 of use). I no longer trust them enough to paddle with... BUT I still use them in my jeep... clothes always packed in for me & the kids. The seam tear isn't bad enough to let in the rain.
Overall highly recommended for it's clearness and price. A great value.

Took several of these on a sailing trip, all worked well with no leaks. I will however say that the materials do not feel as if they'd hold up to opening & closing on a daily basis for more than several months. This is not a bag that you'll buy, use heavily and have for forever. If you're looking for a quality dry bag that will serve you well for a period of 3-6 months of regular use, look no further!
Worked well, kept contents 100% dry with no leaks but again, this was over a two-week period. Longer durations of use may see varied mileage based on the care taken in opening, closing & handling the dry bag.

I was pretty happy with the bag until the seam that held the buckle came undone. Maybe I just got a bad bag. Problem is, the price is very good. This had less than a year of very light use. I'll probably buy another one, and reinforce the seam with duct tape. But I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.
