I like this jersey because it is the best looking California flag design on any jersey out there. The fit is decent. The price it too high. But I only bought it because it was on sale. If looks are the most important factor, then get it. Otherwise I recommend that you hold off.

Just an awesome jersey, has everything that a racing jersey would have but with the California flag emblazoned on it. Other California flag jerseys have poor designs. This one has a great layout and bright colors.I wore it on my solo biking trip through France. It was awesome.If you are going on long sunny rides, you may want to put sunblock on your shoulders because it is not UV repellent. You won't get burned, but safety first. Still five stars because I do not expect my clothing to be scientific magic.Here's the other deal: way overpriced. Last year, REI had this at [$]. You could buy it and have the assurance that you can return it whenever for whatever reason, or you could try them on at the store when buying other things, find your size, and then get it off [...] for $9, because no one seems to know how to search for these on there. (This is what I did.)

All of my jerseys are selected to keep me visible and SAFE, but they have to have style too. This one caught my eye since I'm a Californian and it is easily seen by motorists. Great fit and wicks moisture really well. Good for hot and average weather.

I saw someone wearing this Jersey and asked where they got it - REI; I thought it was cool looking; am a loyal Californian. I don't much like advertising for brands or teams I don't have any relationship to, so I thought this was just right. A great looking, bright jersey for an average guy. As far as objective qualities, I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I think it performs just fine. (Oh yeah, my wife wants one now). I wish the mfg had a flag jersey for every state I've lived in, I'd buy them too, but unfortunately they don't. Hey, mfg, make more state flag jerseys!
