The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. by fromGreat Inovation But Flawed I was excited to have this put on my road bike. Unfortunately, every water bottle (to include different sized ones) would fall off if I went over a larger size bump. Pot holes and cracks in the road should not cause this to happen. I now find myself constantly checking to see if the water bottle is still there. Stick with the standard cage that mounts on the frame!

by fromWorks great until it breaks Had an older aqua rack that lasted for years (>5... maybe longer). Finally the screws started to strip so I got a newer one. In the course of one season, I had two of them failed in exactly the same way... the arm of the most frequently used cage (left in my case) snapped off at the bolt. I never had issues with bottles coming out... it was in a very comfortable position for me... reaching back for a drink was very natural. Was easy to adjust to not it the back of my thighs (maybe a brush now and then). Sadly i'm not prepared to try a third one even though profile design's support is good. Even more sad... I really need a product like this because I can't comfortably carry a bottle on my seat tube (feet point out slightly so my calves hit the cage/bottle.

by fromBad fit, but great cages Yes, I installed it correctly, it was just too close to the seatpost to clear my pedal stroke. This could be a sizing issue; for a shorter rider on a smaller frame, maybe it wouldn't. I don't consider myself gargantuan (6'2"), but I am on the taller end of bike sizing. That said, I took the cages off of it and use them on my MTB frame. They're really fantastic cages; they hold the water bottle more securely than anything I've ever found yet allow you to get the bottle in and out easily. I wish more places carried just the cages.

by fromJust what I needed. I've got a Trek women specific style mountain bike that doesn't have space for water bottles inside the triangle. I bought the short novara bottles and they stay put no matter what bumps and rocks get in my way. I don't notice being unstable with the extra weight on the seat post and I was able to mount it below a small seat bag. Two things, probably won't be able to fit a rear rack bag with this mount, maybe panniers and the camelback water bottles that rei sells don't have the ridge on the neck of the bottle that helps them stay in the mount so well.

by fromGreat system. Some may have fit issues. For the most part, this rack is great. It holds the bottles securely, and it's pretty light. A few minor downsides: 1. It's a little annoying to install because you have to remove the entire seatpost. However, assuming you only have to do this once, this shouldn't be an ongoing issue. 2. As the first reviewer said, there is the potential it can hit the back of your thighs. My thighs lightly bump the cages, but not enough to annoy me. It all depends on the geometry of your bike, how high/low on the seatpost you put these cages, how far forward/back your saddle is, etc. It's pretty much idiot proof to install, so unlike the other reviewers who thought the first reviewer messed up the installation, I can see how it can bump up against your thighs. Overall, great rack.

by fromGreat for Texas but not Colorado This was a great product that I used in the heat of Texas. If it's long flat rides you'll never feel like it's there. After moving to Colorado I had to stop using it because of the higher balance point. It really sucks when your climbing out of the saddle and even a slight swing of the bike makes it off center. But I still use it on longer rides because I never worry about drinking too much water too early in the ride... I'll almost always have enough water. Botton line... you need more than two water bottles to stay hydrated and this is a much better than sticking them in your jersey.
