The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Halo II Headband:
I sweat a ridiculous amount when I teach my spinning classes. It was getting so bad that I had trouble focusing on the class because the sweat was dripping into my eyes. After some research, I decided to try this headband and I LOVE it. Don't get me wrong, I still sweat and still have to use a towel to dry my face, but there is no sweat dripping into my eyes and the amount of sweat on my face has lessened quite a bit. After my class, I wash it out and hang it to dry (note-it takes a while to dry...I recommend over night). I will be buying a second one soon!

This is a great product for anything where perspiring is a factor.
I use this primarily for cycling and I don't have to worry about sweat getting into my eyes. You could use this for any sport where sweat gets into your eyes.

Comments about Halo II Headband:
Funny how such a simple design can work wonders. It's unbelievable how much sweat in my eyes bothered me while running and with the band it is not an issue at all. Sounds like a line - but this is all the sweatband I will ever need.

I use the band from spin classes to zumba, I like it enough to bought another one except my first one is tie headband which I like it more due I can adjust the tightness of of the band. Halo II II does not fit me that well but enough.

I live in Dallas and wore it under my helmet....was concerned it might make me hotter. I was not even aware it was on my head. No sweat or salt in my eyes!! I ordered two more.

Comments about Halo II Headband:
When I exercise, I sweat. A lot. It's no different wity cycling. Once I get warmed-up, sweat gets into my eyes, on my sunglasses, and just gets everywhere.
I've tried really expensive sunglasses with sweat diverters. I've carefully adjusted the padding on my helmet to direct sweat away from my eyes. I've even worn a do-rag under my helmet. Let me tell you, those $150 sunglasses just don't work, the padding gets soaked in minutes, and the do-rag not only looks goofy, but it only works until the first climb.
At first, I wasn't too pleased with the Halo II sweatband. My hair looked like Derek Zoolander's, my helmet fit funny, and after about an hour, the band started to bother my ears, where they attached to my head.
However, I perfected Zoolander's Magnum, which helped a lot. Also, when you put on your helmet, loosen it all the way, then tighten it after you put it on your head. This will ensure the headband doesn't slip down off your brow or crush your ears.
Yeah, at first, you don't get the rush of cool air on your forehead, but after a couple hours on the bike, it's unnoticable. The band gets so soaked with sweat that it feels cool and comfortable. And yeah, when you take the headband off, you get a crease on your forehead from temple to temple.
But you also don't get buckets of sweat blinding you on a climb or sweat-stained sunglasses that make those puckering descents more interesting.
I wish they made the band more breatable, but that's just a nitpick. No sweat in my eyes after a few hundred miles makes this a keeper, especially at the price.

Comments about Halo II Headband:
I won't repeat all the good things that have been said about this great product that's made right here, in the US.
But there is one thing that has not been mentioned. This product is made of a neoprene kind of material and it takes a very long time to dry out.
I wouldn't throw it in the dryer as it may damage the rubber band, so I have to air-dry it. I make sure I squeeze out all the moisture I can and then hang it out to dry.
Allow at least 5 to 6 hours to dry out.

This product works! I've had several 25+ mile rides in temps of 90 degrees F or more and NO more sweat dripping down my glasses and into my eyes. Finally! This sweat band fits perfectly on my head and under my helmet.

Comments about Halo II Headband:
Bought this yesterday based on all the positive comments here. Rode this morning in humid weather, after 1 hour my sunglasses were coated with sweat and my eyes were stinging. I noticed no benefit from the strip that's supposed to funnel sweat away. Took it off, squeezed it out, and put it in my pocket, probably never to be used again.

Comments about Halo II Headband:
This is a great product, did 10 miles today without any issue. I took it off towards the end of my run just to see how much sweat had accumulated and it was pretty incredible. Definitely a good choice.
