  • Highly water-resistant leather uppers are lined with hydrophobic foam for comfort and fit--suitable for intermittent water use
  • Strappy uppers are laced with elastic cord and secure with quicklocks; 3M reflective pull loops for easy on and off
  • Patented toe guards protect feet for hiking, biking and more
  • EVA midsoles provide cushioning while Clarino™ Serdia™ anti-microbial footbeds help keep foot odor under control

      Anti-oder coating will wear out before the shoe does. Can be worn where close toed shoes are required (like some military chow-halls). Doubles as a shower shoe (saves packing space). Best darn sandal I have ever owned. Still using the pair I ordered while in Baghdad in 2004 (now Oct 2007). Finally decided to get another pair.

          Great for watersports, but stay away from sandy or rocky places! The holes let rocks and sand in, but the giant rubber toepiece means they can't get out; you have to stop every 10 feet and empty out the debris.

          I got my Keen Newoports about four years ago. They are still in great shape. After literally HUNDREDS of miles, the soles have held up, and the leather truly is waterproof.

          If you plan on getting them wet often, the Newport H2 is a better option - only because the leather takes a long time to dry out.

          These sandals are comfortable and will last a long time.

            I bought a pair of these 2 and a half years ago and they are all that I wear now. I have taken them on several trips and they never fail me. They are very comfortable and you can wear them anywhere.(Beach, Mountains, Around Town, Biking..yes biking.) Mine still look new and they have countless miles on them. Get a pair, you won't regret it.

              i went to [...] to buy other items. the salesman had them on an recommended them. i thought they looked odd but tried them anyway. they are the most comfortable thing i own ( 20 pairs of footwear). i hate for the cold weather to come because i will not be wearing them.
