The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.
Rated4out of5byitsjustme77fromLove me some Keen'sI really like these shoes, the only problem is that when your feet get sweaty, they get slippery. They also will be slimy and smelly after awhile of wearing them in the woods. Need to be cleaned more often than other shoes.

Rated5out of5bywetdogfromTough and stable shoeI bought these for a trip to Hawaii. I found them to not be the best for the sand since the enclosed design traps alot of sand. I am still very happy with them, as I had kind of expected that may be the case. I think they will be great for my intended use, which is wearing to the lake when taking my boat out for the day. They are stable enough to drive in with really good grip on rocks and boat launches. I wish i'd purchased these years ago

Rated5out of5byHeavya1974from3 days in the waterRecently I wore these on a 3 day trip down the devils river. I was the only one of 4 to have this style of water shoe on. We had to get out multiple times in rapids that did not have enough water to pass through on our canoe and I must say these shoes were phenomenal the entire weekend. I love having them on this trip. Extremely sturdy and comfortable after we got off the water to make camp. They stay wet, but I took sandals once camp was set up. The hard rubber toe probably saved a few toes in the rapids as well. Great grip on the rocks, and small sediment found its way out eventually. Great shoe. Others on the trip were complaining of their shoes and one guy actually had to tape his ankles where the material was rubbing on the back of his ankle.

Rated2out of5byZacheryfromStinkyI like the quality and the feel. However, I wore these while I was traveling to and in Kenya. After wearing these for like 12 hours or so, with or without socks, they make your feet REALLY stink. Much worse than other shoes. I have heard that another Peace Corps volunteer had the same problem with these shoes. So I don't find them nice for extended wear.

Rated4out of5byLetsCampfromComfortable and durableThe shoes are extremely tough.
This is a replacement for a pair I had for over 6 years, the old pair having worn the sole down to the point where the inner lining is coming through and parts of the sole are loose and flapping. The elastic cords have frayed and broken and been replaced by shoelaces. However, the fabric portion of the tops and sides of the old shoes are still in excellent shape. If I could replace just the sole, I would have.
I wear these shoes almost all the time when I'm not at work. I bike, walk, run, wade, use them in the yard - basically pretty much any activity. The previous pair went in sand, mud, puddles, rivers and ocean. (And so will these.)
But I've learned to wear them with socks because otherwise they can generate a powerful smell. Also, when they are new, the sole can be slippery on smooth and hard surfaces -- I had forgotten about this, but my new pair quickly reminded me.
I plan to get another pair when the current ones are done in a few years.

Rated5out of5byDon SfromGreat Shoes/SandalsThey were initially uncomfortable because they seem to touch your feet at different prssure points than my other shoes and they feel too short because of the hard rubber toe trapping your big toe. About the fourth time I wore them those feelings went away and they became extremely comfortable.
I use these around the house mostly but could easily do walks in the neighborhood or mild terrain hikes or use running errands. These shoes/sandals are my go to footwear for trips in my vehicles. If you buy a pair be sure to give them a chance. You will not be sorry.

Rated4out of5byTom234fromVery happy with sandalsI live in Tucson where it gets very hot in the summer. These are my go to footwear. The bottom of my foot does get sweaty, but here it is expected. They are very comfortable. I took them to Hawaii for vacation and walked on the beach and in the ocean with no problem. Gave them a good fresh water rinse and they are good as new.
