The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Omega Pacific Jake Quik-Lok Autolocking Carabiner:
We've had a lot of problems with the locking sheaths bending and then tearing even under moderate use. Failure of the sheath essentially makes the biner a non-locker, though we have never had any issues with strength. While they are convenient, there are some definite concerns with durability. I would recommend for light use only.

Comments about Omega Pacific Jake Quik-Lok Autolocking Carabiner:
It's a nice heavy duty carabiner that should last a while. Very easy to use and large enough for multiple ropes.

The binner works great but i would recomend it for ATC users only it is very hard to use with a grigri(the first addition). I use this indoors only.

I used this product for belaying only
Great so you don't have to use a screw-lock

Comments about Omega Pacific Jake Quik-Lok Autolocking Carabiner:
I bought the Quick-Lok Jake just to belay on dry Sport and Trad routes. For this situation it is not only easy but fast too. The huge gate opening makes clipping in multiple ropes on rap a breeze too. On an alpine climb the auto-lock gate can become frozen, a standard screw-gate is probably more ideal.
I would buy this biner again without reservation.

Comments about Omega Pacific Jake Quik-Lok Autolocking Carabiner:
A bit heavy, but that may help with durability and heat dissipation on long repels and top roping. Large enough for amost any configuration/rescue setup you could throw at it. Simple, quick action lock. A tiny bit large for a gri-gri, but still do-able.
Buying #2 to replace the old one.

Comments about Omega Pacific Jake Quik-Lok Autolocking Carabiner:
I am a young climber, and purchased this when I was out on my first outdoor climbing trip in Austin, Texas. My use for this carabiner is mainly as my belay biner. I like the autolock feature, because it takes out the human error in forgetting to lock the biner, and I also like the large top and small bottom. It keeps the biner in place on my belay loop, but gives me a lot of room for rope movement and other work. I have not used it for multiple rope belaying, but I'm sure it would work wonderfully. This biner is heavy and large, but it feels very secure. I often like to put it in one hand and open and close the gate, just to become more accustomed to the locking device. If you have small hands or are looking for a lightweight biner, I wouldn't recommend this, but otherwise it's done wonders for me. I highly recommend going into a store and feeling it for yourself.

Comments about Omega Pacific Jake Quik-Lok Autolocking Carabiner:
This is an ideal carabiner for top-roping - solid,
easy to use, and easy to verify. The angled opening compensates for the narrow midsection giving it the gate clearance of a traditional pear-shaped biner. Given its size and weight however, it's best left on the ground.

Good looking, made to last, perfect for guys, may be to big for a female's hand.
