Experienced a series of failures right at the valve stem. Two tubes failed at seams in the tube. Went through 5-6 tubes in a couple months, none repairable and none road hazard related. Slightly better luck with the long-stems, which have a non-threaded section.

When I used this tube I bent the plunger on the valve a little bit with my pump. When I tried to bend it back to continue filling the tire it snapped off. I will not be buying any Novara tubes in the future. (Nor any other Novara product for that matter.)

I agree with the rest of the reviewers. These are cheap flimsy tubes and mine blew immediately b/c of valve stem issues. Slightly different issue: while fixing flat on the road, the screw nozzle thing broke off. Fortunately I was able to get home but when I filled the tire up to normal pressure the entire valve just blew. I'll be returning this tube asap.

Over 1300 miles and no single failure. I keep them inflated in 100-105 psi range (never inflated more than 105 psi). "KENDA" is printed on the tubes so I believe these are made by Kenda and should be of the same quality. I bought and installed them in April 2009. My tires are Maxxis Fuse (700X23).

This is a premium priced tube, with budget qualities. The smooth valve stem makes it impossible for a tire pump to grip.

Seams split on 3 brand new tubes within 2 hours. It ruined an otherwise great group ride. They probably all came from the same bad batch. I'll never use them again!

I have found that this tube punctures and blows out fairly easily. Also, the valve stem is difficult to pump, more so than other higher quality Presta tubes. I would highly recommend spending a little more for a better quality product.

Don't buy this. The tubes puncture easily particularly at the stems. Valve sticks when using CO2 cartridges. I used up three the other night on a ride, all were from the same batch.
