      Tried this out a few times with little to no success. The surface area on it just wasn't enough compared to a larger microfiber towel. I ended up throwing it away and just use my microfiber towel instead.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        Comments about Tent Sponge:

        I just used this on a very rainy 5 day backpacking trip in Northern Arkansas.

        In the past I have used a small backpacking face cloth but this works much better. It absorbs much more water, squeezes out more thoroughly, dries faster and is generally lighter.

        I am not sure how long it will last. The material degraded slightly as I used it. Also, the price is high for what it is.
