Based on the other reviewers positive comments, I was looking forward to this pair of shoe to arrive, but was greatly disappointed when I tried them on.
These are the most uncomfortable shoes I have purchased in years. I am between a size 6 and 6 1/2, and I thought that size 6 1/2 would be comfy. Instead the shoes are too narrow and the arch too low. They fit without the inserts, but are then hard on the feet to walk in.

Have worn this same style of Merrells for many years, and usually buy 2-3 pairs at a time in both gray and black. These are the best shoes IMHO as far as comfort and wear. I have also bought Merrells over the years for my husband and three children in this and other styles & colors, and they all find these very comfortable. Little girls' sizes have come in pink, purple and blue! These are worn everyday. I hope Merrell never phases out this style!

Merrell is the BEST brand of comfortable, stylish and versatile shoes EVER. It is practically the ONLY shoe I wear - even to work! The footbed is INCREDIBLE: slip one on and you'll be hooked. Jungle Moc is my favorite style. I've put my husband, father and best friend's pregnant sister ALL into Merrells!

I have had mine for about a year, and they're still in great shape. The cushy interior has compacted a bit, but they're very comfortable and keep my feet fairly warm without getting them too sweaty. My feet have gotten tired after many hours of walking around cities, but for everyday wear, they're great. I also love them for traveling - they slip on and off easily for airport security and while sitting on the plane. Overall, great shoes, I highly recommend them.

After being worn all over - work and casual wear, my poor Merrells got relegated to being barn shoes. They are comfy all year round. They aren't very stylin' anymore, but they have held up to a ton of abuse - mud, muck and manure, but are finally giving up the ghost. I guess I should get two pair - one for the barn and one for life in general.

Here is the downlow on this product from my perspective. I have owned Merrell Jungle Mocs for women since I first discovered them in 2001! I own 4 pairs, 2 in a shade they called Eucalyptus, a very nice, useful shade of gray which goes with almost any slack or jean, 1 pair in tan, and most recently a year ago I purchased a pair in Gunsmoke. These shoes are particularly great for air travel.They easily slip on and off for TSA inspections, and feel comfortable while sitting hours on a plane. I often travel to New England in winter months and they are lightweight and so practical I can pack an extra pair. They are breathable and warm so when in the East you can easily appreciate them when walking from a building to a vehicle in colder, snowy weather. At the same time, I live in the Southwestern desert where these shoes are also perfect for those winters. You can walk all day in them and your feet will be happy at the end of the day. I would really like Merrell to bring back the Eucalyptus color because it is such a useful shade and I would definitely be one to buy more. I just fear knowing manufacturers that at some point Merrell might discontinue the style altogether and I would greatly miss these shoes, so I need to stock up. Believe me I get lots of compliments when I wear them. Just recently my young doctor complimented me on them and asked where I found them.I told her REI. In fact, REI is about the only place now I know these to be available. Years back you could find them also at [...]Now REI is about the only place I can find them. I highly recommend this shoe if you are seeking a comfortable, lightweight, travel shoe for cooler months, say from October to April.

These are the single most comfortable shoes I have EVER worn! I am wearing out my third pair and awaiting my fourth on backorder. I hope they never stop making the Jungle Moc, and wish they came in more colors, like chocolate brown suede. If I'm not in boots or sandals, these are the only shoes I wear. These are the rare women's shoes that are wide enough to fit my extra wide woman's feet.
