Comments about Mountain House Lasagna with Meat and Sauce For Two:
As one user alluded to, it will stain synthetic spoons. The serving size is pretty conservative, too. We figure 1.5 servings/person. Other than that, it's great. As light as ramen noodles but infinitely better tasting.

Comments about Mountain House Lasagna with Meat and Sauce For Two:
I cannot recommend this item. The melted cheese in the lasagna sticks, builds up and hardens on my lexan spoon. It makes a mess that is difficult to clean with hot water and a few drops of soap.
The taste and texture is okay but I would not put in my pack again even if there were not cleanup issues. The Mountain House Spaghetti and the Chili Mac meals are much better if you want pasta.
Mountain House freeze dried meals are generally very good and hassle free.

Comments about Mountain House Lasagna with Meat and Sauce For Two:
I have had this a few times now and the taste is very good, and I will continue to buy it. You must mix it very thoroughly or else you will not get all the powder mix on the bottom of the bag. It is a bit watery, even a bit soupy if you use the full amount of water stated on the bag. The one nagging problem is after eating with my titanium spork, it is nearly impossible to clean without a scouring pad, but the taste always outweighs this annoyance. Serving size is small for 2 people, if having for dinner you will need a bit more to satisfy your hunger. Would be 5 stars except for the cleanup of the spoon.

Comments about Mountain House Lasagna with Meat and Sauce For Two:
This is a winner. I liked it so much I could have 2+ servings to myself. I will stockpile a case of this. Be careful to mix it thoroughly so that all powderized components get rehydrated. Some hard rolls, tea (or wine) and dessert add to this meal very very well. Yes. Use metal utensils. Plastic ones will get stained. 500+ mg of sodium per serving is pretty reasonable, compared to some other freeze-dried meal varieties of nearly three times this much sodium. Some people like extra salt at the end of a day of backpacking, but remember that a _daily_ allowance is in the 2000 mg range.

Comments about Mountain House Lasagna with Meat and Sauce For Two:
This was surprisingly tasty, although the one 2-serving bag would probably feed one very hungry hiker.
The cheese is very sticky, and you have to be sure to mix the powders very well or you will get a glop of stuff at the bottom of the bag.
The noodles are broken up, not large and long, so keep that in mind.

Very tasty, our favorite flavor. We usually add a little extra water and let it sit a little longer than it says.

Comments about Mountain House Lasagna with Meat and Sauce For Two:
By ordinary food standards, this is okay... a little on the sweet side, like canned mass market pastas. For freeze-dried, it's quite tasty. The noodle chunks are a little on the small side for a "lasagna", and the directions ask for (I think) too much water, making it soupy. Also, the serving size is a bit small for two... as a six-footer, I found eating the whole package ("2 servings") to be still a bit on the spartan side. A "serves two" package of veggies makes it satisfying, though.
My "unhealthful" rating is, in fact, all about the sugar. The sauce needs to be more robust.
All that being said, this one is definitely going into the bug-out-bag. Kids will love it.
