The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Saucony Kinvara TR 2 Trail-Running Shoes - Men's:
I LOVE the Kinvara and Peregrine. I've had at least 6 pairs of each and used them on runs of up to 50 miles. When I heard there was a Kinvara trail shoe coming out I grabbed a pair. Fit is identical to the Kinvara and Peregrine. The problem however is the nylon mesh strike plate. It makes the shoes noticeable less flexible in the forefoot. When I toe off in a Kinvara the heel remains wrapped around my heel. The Kinvara TR however isn't as flexible so when I toe off in these shoes they don't flex and my heel slips a bit. So far it hasn't been a problem but then the longest run I've logged in them has only been 8 miles. I worry that on truly long runs (20+ miles) that slipping will translate into blisters. If your runs are shorter distance AND on really rocky trails than the strike plate in this shoe will be fine. If your trails are more dirt than rock I'd stick with the Peregrine or Kinvara.
