by fattyres12fromReturned this quickly!Very hopeful about this pack, since I have another Osprey women's specific backpack. I found this pack to be heavy and bulky, but without any storage capacity to justify the bulk. Straps were not comfortable, as they sat on my shoulders too widely. Returned this item for a Camelback!

by mrsduckyfromGood first packThis was my first hydration pack, so I have nothing to compare it to. I did want to write a review to say that I took it on a run and did not feel the pack while running, even not having used a pack before. You do have to spend a bit of time adjusting it to make that happen, but it's time well spent. Worked best being close to my upper back and straps tightened considerably (but not uncomfortably). I moved the chest strap upwards to make it more comfortable. I'm 5'7" and 145, athletic build, if that helps.
There is also a trick to prevent sloshing - fill the bladder, turn it upside down and suck out the air through the straw until water hits the hose. I filled the bladder only halfway for my run, pulled out the air, and had no problems running with a half-full pack.
Enough room in the pocket to fit my cell phone, keys, and a few snacks, but you aren't going to fit any bike tools in this bag. You can probably lash an outer later to the bag via the bungees but I have not tried it yet. The pocket on the front is handy while running for a gel, etc. and the magnet link for the mouthpiece is great - don't have to fiddle with the hose while running.
Great deal on a great pack.
