Great pack! Better fit! I

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pack! Better fit! I went from an Osprey Stratos 34 to this pack. It's lighter and more comfortable. Definitely prefer the bucket style over the front loader.

Talon 33

This is my 2nd Talon 33 (replaced under warranty after 13 years of use-thanks Osprey!). The new version is every bit as good as the old version that I had. Very comfortable and enough space for everything needed for a days hiking. The minor changes between the older pack and this new one are all good. The webbing straps are a little less substantial but will be more than suitable. The change to the hydration pack fitting may mean I have to get an Osprey hydration pack to be securely fitted using the updated fixing point in the sack but time will tell. All in all, it’s still a great day sack and I’m really pleased with it.

Love the new day pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new day pack I got for myself! It is slightly larger than my old (non-Osprey) pack. The Talon33 very well made with the deep pockets I need for my work. All the zippers are easy to open and close with one hand. I got tired of wrestling with them on the old daypack. All the pack adjustments are easy and placed in good locations. You can feel the level high of craftsmanship and design in this and my other Osprey pack! The summer season is right around the corner, and I can tell this pack is built to last! My pack and I are going to be spending a lot of time together bringing gear in and out to trail crews! The only detail I would change in this already excellent pack is make the webbing on the hip belt wider with a little more padding. I'll be carrying heavy loads at times. Oh, and maybe more loops on the outside, for lightweight attachments. Aside from that, I am very pleased!

Love the adjustments for different torso sizes

Hi Osprey. Love the minimalist design and adjustments for different torso sizes. Friends and family can borrow it and still be comfortable using it, so more adventures for everyone. For the next iteration, I would suggest a free floating top load cover, tapered and detachable hip belt, detachable shoulder bottle holders, daisy chain on shoulder harness, detachable stay. Best regards

Warranty replacement of 15 year old bag

I bought a talon 33 about 15 years ago which I’ve used loads over the years but after all that use it started to fall apart, so I submitted a warranty repair/replace claim and within a week a had a brand new replacement. The new bag looks and feels great and you can tell what’s improved in the time between me getting both bags. Would definitely recommend getting an osprey bag.

Indestructible travel companion

I have had a Talon 33 for more than a decade. I have used it continuously over the years for travelling and hiking. Although the padding is now a bit gone, not a single part of the backpack ever failed or broke. Super lightweight and comfortable, the only real negative thing about it is that it doesn’t come with a raincover. Great pack.

Top drawer

I’m using it on the Camino as I write this. It’s excellent in all aspects. The number of adjustable straps make it very comfortable. Fits a 3L reservoir easily and has plenty of easily accessible pockets. I’d buy one if I were you :)

Osprey Talon 33

Not had an opportunity to put the Talon to the test yet. This will come shortly when it will be used extensively in France. It looks good, feels good and a comfortable fit. If it’s anything like my old Talon 33, it will provide me with great service.
