Definitely something you have to get used to. First time I wore them I got blisters on my arches. I got them with the intention of hiking in warmer climates (Arizona) and water hikes, but I haven't done a long hike yet because it just seems weird to have that exposure on the trail. I feel so vulnerable. Rocks don't get in them as bad as I thought and they are very durable and stable. I will definitely keep them and try to use them when appropriate but the idea of stubbing my toe or rolling an ankle on the trail just lingers in my mind when I wear them.
Feels half size too big
Feels true to width
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
