by fromA cannot beat minimalist trail runner... I've been running in Inov8 exclusively since my first pair of rocklite's back in 2004. I've run on every type of terrain on more than 4 continents. I run mostly trails, but I'm not afraid to take to the road when the area I'm in doesn't provide good trail escapes. These shoes are everything I look for in a ultralight shoe with great features and excellent traction. Don't buy these if you're looking for something to just look flashy in the gym... you're feet will be sad with you. They're certainly for a person with a minimalist background and understanding of what to expect and how to treat their feet... but if you want the best minimalist shoe on the market, in my humble opinion, you cannot beat this new edition to the Inov8 line.

by fromAwesome minimalist show I have been looking for a great trail shoe for running and hiking and ascending to climbing routes. I have tried several other shoes from top brands you would normally compare with these. I have been looking into going toward the minimalist shoe market so I chose these because of the slight drop and they still had enough sole that you won't feel every pebble. This is hands down the best one I have come across. I have climbed things with the toes that I would have thought I would need my climbing shoes for, the traction is amazing. In most cases on the trail I think my shoes are the most aggressive pattern I see, even when compared to hiking boots. I absolutely love these shoes and they have held up to more than I would have expected them to, durability wise, considering how grippy they are. On top of all of that they are super light weight, breathable and comfy.
