I bought this sandals because I was looking for a stylish sandal that I could trek about town in, wear to the beach, wear while tubing, basically just live in for the summer. I really like that Chaco has come out with a sole that is way more comfy for those of us without high arches, and I like the thick straps that are easier to adjust than the thin ones. However, the plastic piece that attaches the strap to the sole rubs against the inside of my foot, making it tender and painful to wear for any length of time, especially if I'm out and about. I've been hoping this would go away with a bit of breaking in, or if I tightened the straps more, but it seems to be a persistent problem. It's too bad, because I love the sandals except for that (fairly serious) problem.
