The Keen Clearwater CNX sandals are built for fun in the water. They feature rubber toe guards to help protect toes while crossing streams and rivers.

Water-friendly and lightweight polyester webbing uppers wash easily; pull loops facilitate easy on-and-off
Uppers are laced with elastic cords and secure with cordlocks for a comfortable, easily adjustable fit
Patented rubber toe guards protect feet from scuffs, bumps and uneven terrain
Polyester mesh linings wick moisture away from the feet for all-day comfort
Contoured topsoles feature metatarsal ridges just behind the toes for enhanced fit and feel; molded arches supply light support
Thin polyurethane midsoles have a 4mm heel-to-toe drop to encourage natural movement while also offering light cushioning underfoot
Thermoplastic urethane shanks supply stability and support for tackling uneven terrain
Nonmarking rubber outsoles on the Keen Clearwater CNX sandals feature multidirectional lugs with razor siping for improved traction on wet surfaces
Please note: as part of the Keen CNX line, these sandals have a slightly reduced width and overall volume compared to regular Keen sandals to provide a better-connected fit

I had tried to buy keen sandals for years, but they never fit right. these have a smaller profile & are more comfortable. I bought them to wear in the Galapagos, which is 5 days from now. Only time will tell.

These are great shoes; very light and form fitting. They do great in water and I love being able to walk through a creek. The only downfall is that I have gotten some blisters.

I love Keens in general, and these shoes are no exception. I've worn a pair of Venice 2's for 4 years now. They're still in decent shape, but it felt like time for a new pair, and I thought I'd give these a try since I like the colors better. The fit is much the same, though there isn't as much toe room as the old ones had. The heel is just as wide, but the toe is more slender. They make my feet look smaller, but they fit great. Hopefully they'll last me as long as my other pair!
