      Very comfortable, very light. tread pattern works well on road, nontechnical fireroad, technical single track-- great if you are running a varied route. Cushions well on rocky trails. Very pleased with these shoes. Can't say anything about durability since just started running in them.

        I've used these as trial runners and hiking shoes. They have excellent traction and grip. I've felt good on rocks, wet rocks, mud, dirt, and hard packed trail. I've also run with them on the street and they were not too bad. I wouldn't use them for a road only run but for a few extra miles on the road after a trail run I just keep these on and don't bother with switching to my road shoes.

        The laces could use some work. I find them difficult to get tight on my feet. I might try switching them out. Also, the gaiters that are internal to the shoe sometimes rub my feet. I think has more to do with my inconsistent tightening ability though.
