Comments about Coleman Zephyr Fan - 2008 Closeout:
I bought this for a week long car camping trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway during the summer. It made all the difference between a hot, muggy, restless, night and comfortable sleep. I love that it has a strong magnet attachment, so that I can hang it directly overhead in the camper. It truly changes misery to bliss. The batteries lasted through the whole trip.
I will not leave home during the summer without this fan.

I've had one of these for a number of years; a bit cheap construction, but held up OK until loaned to a friend. Takes 4 D batteries - very heavy - but did the trip for a week on the buffalo river in warm weather. A must for summer camping in the south - BUT NOT BACKPACKING! WAY TOO HEAVY for that. I bought a second one with similar results.
