I used these for light trail walking and around the office.
They're warm and comfortable to have on for long periods of time, at least in California.
After less than 2 months of normal use both laces broke and one of the ankle pull tabs broke. Which would be fine after a year, but so early in it's use makes it feel like poor workmanship or Keen has a lack of attention to detail.
The rest of the boot seems to hold up so far.

These appear to be the same great quality that Keen has in most of their shoes. However, I ordered these online and the size was way off and had to return them. I have owned several pairs of Keen and they have been great. This style fits differently. I don't recommend purchasing without trying on a pair. But of course REI has the best return policy so I am not out money, just my time.

Casual semi dress boots that are good for a night on the town when weather is dicey. These are very light and very roomy. While these shield your feet from weather, they will not keep your feet warm. The roominess of the boots accommodates the REI wool expedition socks if you insist on wearing these in sub freezing conditions. The light leather breaths well.

I love Keen shoes and have several pairs. When I saw this on closeout sale, I ordered immediately, sight-unseen. Bad idea. The boots attract dust like a magnet and require extensive cleaning after each wearing. Quite inconvenient for a casual pair of shoes.
