My best friend and I bought two of these packs last year and put many many miles on them. The pack is light, comfortable, and has the perfect amount of room for a day pack.

The hydraulics system is great, the pressurized system makes drinking much easier on the hills when you're gasping for air. The light weight ripstop nylon has held up stomping through the bushes and sliding down rocks.

The only two downfalls I have found is that the zipper pulls have come off (I tied on some new rope, no biggie) and the water bladder threads dont fit on my water purifier (I put an adapter in the hose to connect directly).

This thing instantly made me an official FORMER user of camelbak products. This unit is superior in every way to the leaky and poorly designed camelbak products that I've owned. This thing is solid, very adjustable, and is designed very well with pockets and various other minor features all in well-designed locations. The suspension system keeps the unit off of your back so that you remain cool. I liked the bite valve and it was nice that it was magnetized and attaches effortlessly back to the recepticle on the chest strap. I would gladly buy another Osprey hydration pack.
