Solar Panel Would Not Charge Battery

I bought this to charge my cell phone while bike touring. I had high hopes for the product but unfortunately it fell flat. When connected to the solar panel, the battery pack would not charge. The battery pack would charge when connected to a USB, so I assume the issue was with the solar panel.

Besides not working, the packaging was all jacked up - they included duplicate connectors while not providing the ones that I needed.

So, I'd rate this product as poor quality control.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
