      Great size and a very flexible interior. Decent amount of padding, but don't think it'll protect the contents from "enthusiastic" baggage handlers.....so pack accordingly.

      The straps are decently comfortable, and seem to balance the load well.

      As far as capacity: It's kind of tight with two pair of mid-fat's and one pair of tele boards in it. Then again, that may not be a completely normal load-out!

      I may have missed it in the description originally, but a nice bonus was that the bag *does* have wheels!

        Great ski bag, no doubt. It is big, but you can fit A LOT of gear in it. Its also heavy on its own. Full of gear, it definitely exceeds the 50 lb. limit US airlines mandate.

        No mention of the wheels in the REI description (there are roller wheels) and no shoulder straps came with mine (unlike the picture). I would have prefered straps, but all good.

        Its a bomber ski bag for travel, particularly long, epic trips.

          This is a BIG ski bag. I used this bag for cross country ski equipment, it easily fit four pairs XC skis, poles, and boots plus a few random pieces of clothing. Could fit more XC skis and poles if you handle the boots separately.

          Good design, it has an internal padded divider and easy to use internal straps. Rollers work well, although rolling any 2 meter bag through crowded areas is a bit of a challenge. It appears to be sturdy and durable, but I have only used it on one trip so far.

          It does not fit my 215 cm skis, but that is expected as the bag is 2 meters long which is the official airline limit for ski bags (well at least on Finnair). It was also about a half inch too wide to fit in the ski storage locker at a train station, I had to take the skis out and put them loose in the ski locker and fold the bag and store it in a different locker.

          I am happy with it.
