Mellow Magne-Traction keeps the board solid on ice; a blunt nose, directional rocker and camber underfoot deliver the float and stability needed for bombing any line, any time
Jeremy Jones and his legion of podium-proven freeriders have battle tested the Flagship for unmatched performance from the first jump turn to the last straight-line runout
Flagship knows no speed limit and is no doubt one of the most confidence-inspiring freeride boards ever produced; step on it and prepare to step up
Directional rocker features more tip rocker than tail rocker and a slight camber in between the bindings
Rockered tip adds float and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot delivers added edge hold and response
Slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but keeps the tail catch-free when initiating turns and landing switch
Blunt nose offers the float benefits of a much longer board tip without the added length or swing weight
Mellow Magne-Traction improves edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of the board
Refined Magne-Traction maximizes edge control underneath bindings and minimizes hangups outside feet so you can feather your turns without catching an edge
Full wood core is comfortable and robust; it's a true all-terrain core and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council; carbon stringers provide lively pop and solid landings
Wood topsheet replaces a traditional plastic topsheet and lacquer to cut down on waste and weight
Strong and durable, reclaimed hickory wood is used for the sidewalls
Sintered base, with recycled P-tex scraps, is durable, absorbs wax fast and retains the wax longer; carbon nano particles and other additives enhance glide
This base is specially developed by Nidecker and is very resistant to impacts
P-tex waste is drastically reduced by flip-flopping base graphic colors between boards; base colors are random, thus specific requests cannot be accommodated

by MontuckyfromSo much funThis was my first new board purchase in a while and I couldn't be more excited. I originally ordered the 158 (175 lbs) at the recommendation of my local REI rep, hoping it would be a little shiftier in the trees and just be a good all around board. After riding it 3 days, decided it just didn't have the float in deep snow that I was looking for. Traded it in for the 161 and what a difference. The day after I received it, we had a 20"+ day. This board was incredible. Super fast, shifty, and the float was amazing. By days end, I was looking for tracked pow just to see how well it did and I was blown away. Not to mention scary fast. Love this board.
