My kids wear their winter boots probably half the year, partly because they're so convenient to slip on each time they go out. We haven't had much snow this year, so I can't yet attest to their ability to withstand deep snow or wet slush. But the tread on the bottom is very pronounced and should do well in typical conditions. They seem very warm and comfortable. My daughter definitely prefers them to the Sorel's she had last year. I wished there had been more color selection.
