I was a little nervous about ordering these shoes because I had only tried on the low tops in the store, but I have weak ankles and wanted something with more support. I couldn't be happier with these boots. I'm on my feet almost all day and regularly lead hikes or go hiking by myself. These boots are very comfortable and secure.

I've owned the boot for about a month now and have logged around 30-40 miles in them during hikes. Great fit and comfortable. Used in some muddy/rainy conditions and my feet stayed dry. No real complaints at the moment. I hope they're durable, but time will tell. I would recommend these, especially if you're trying to avoid the $200+ price range for the higher end boots.
