I bought these boots because I was looking for a pair of casual boots/hiking boots that were made in the USA. The style was a little different than I am use to, but I have grown to really like the look. I have been wearing these boots almost every day since I got them ants they have been great. I normally go on a short day hike once a week and these have not disappointed me on the trails or off the trails. They are very comfortable even after many hours of hiking. Recently I spent a day out in the rain and mud. Five hours of walking through water were no match for these boots. My feet stayed dry. This is also one of the issues with the boots. On hotter days these boots can get a little warm. I have found that the right choice in socks helps keep my feet cool and dry. Overall these boots are great casual hiking boots that you can wear everyday.

I love these boots, they are comfortable, stable, good looking, and rugged. Though I would not say these are hiking shoes, for yardwork or around town they are fantastic! The moccasion toe looks great with jeans or khakis and you can get away wearing them in all sorts of occasions. The laces can pinch if you tie them wrong, but that is easily avoided. I love the classic lumberjack look and feel that they give, I feel so rugged and manly! Ha. I do warn they don't grip a lot on ice, so be careful.

Ordered these online and got them in about 2 days. They look much nicer than on the website, so nice I could even wear them to work in my office with a pair of chinos. They are tough to put on and the 10.5 I ordered was too tight on the top of my foot (I have high arches) so I have returned them and am going to try a 11. I hope they work because otherwise these boots are perfect for me for casual wear.
