The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Whispbar by Yakima Heavy Duty XBar - Pair:
I bought these thinking that they were the same as the rest of the Whispbar line in terms of functionality except that they could support an additional 40lbs of weight. Come to find out that they are specifically designed for use with ladders and other construction/utility specific use and has a non-standard rail track that means the whispbar bike rack, and other racks that make use of the rail system won't work.
I am giving it 3 stars due to the lack of documentaion/awareness to this issue. I think the rack in general is quite impressive, sturdy once on the car, and extremely quiet; however, the fact that this issue isn't published anywhere is frustrating as meant I had to return it/take it off my car and then install a different whispbar system. If you are looking for a quiet rail system for the use it was designed for (hauling ladders, wood, etc) then this would be a great rack system... but it isn't good for recreational use.
Another issue is the installation instructions don't express that there are two different tools attached to the lock plates that are needed for installation so I went and bought the one tool I thought was missing to install it only to find the tool once it was already installed/on my car.
