The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Stohlquist Nemo PFD - Kids':
Great life jacket for kids, highly adjustable so they don't outgrow it after one season. Gives great freedom of movement for swimming. We have an old one that has been in the family for 8 years and still looks/works as new...had to buy another one (larger size) because we have two kids.

Comments about Stohlquist Nemo PFD - Kids':
My daughter is 3yo, 32lbs (50%), and 36" (20%) and it fits her very well. It fits low in front (away from her face) and is minimal in the back so her movement isn't impaired. (In fact, she wore it for 30min running around our REI store, climbing on the benches and even the rock hill in the shoe section with no trouble.) She still has plenty of room to grow over the next couple years as well.
We had her swim teacher test it out in the pool- she dropped her in head first (sounds scary but she's already a very capable swimmer without a PFD, and it's a very possible way to accidentally enter the water)- and the jacket immediately righted her, flipped her over, and kept her face well out of the water. I was very impressed with the performance and feel confident that it could keep her safe in the event of an accidental swim.

Comments about Stohlquist Nemo PFD - Kids':
My daughter is 20 months old & is very tall (95th percentile) but is fairly thin (40th percentile) for her age. It is hard to find comfortable PFDs that work for her size. We are frequently around the water (on the boat dock at our lakehouse, on the ski boat, on the pontoon boat, around/in the pool, etc). I find that she is too young to have a life jacket without the neck support if she really did fall into the water by herself, but that really limits her movements. These life jackets seem to run very small as she is only 23lbs and fits nice & snugly into this 30-50lb life jacket. I think she will only get 1-2 summers out of this life jacket before we move onto a "big girl" life jacket. For swimming in the pool, we have purchased a Puddle Jumper and love it.
