The Isis Whisper hooded down vest makes a fantastic layering piece. It turns a standard fleece into serious winter wear and thrown over a shell, it makes a toasty combination.

  • Shell fabric is tightly woven to provide a downproof barrier that keeps warmth in and wind out while letting your body breathe
  • Down is a natural insulator and delivers lofty warmth with minimal weight; down is extremely resilient—scrunch it up, shake it out, and it's ready to keep you warm again
  • On dark winter days the brightly printed nylon taffeta lining adds a bit of cheer

I really like the cut of this vest - the diagonal lines help reduce the puffy-tube look and make it more flattering. However the sizes run large so I'll be returning the size 4 I got (I usually am between a 4-6) - its a shame there is no size 2 :-( My search for the perfect vest continues!
