Comments about REI Backpacker First-Aid Kit - Special Buy:
I ordered this kit online, so I really did not have a feel for the size. It was much bulkier than I expected, and I would not consider it a first aid kit for backpacking.
It is a fairly well stocked, and I would have given it five stars if it weren't billed as a "Backpacker First-Aid Kit." I carry almost an identical complement of first-aid supplies when I backpack, but it is condensed into a much smaller kit.
This would work great for your car, boat, RV, sports team or Boy Scout troop. Actually, my son's Boy Scout troop ended up purchasing mine for their troop's first aid kit (front-country camping), and they purchased the smaller "Hiker First-Aid Kit" for each patrol.

Nice Kit, has plenty of the Basic's you will need and plenty of room to add more. Alittle large for Back Packing but great to have in your car or for Car-Camping!

Comments about REI Backpacker First-Aid Kit - Special Buy:
I purchased a couple of these for camping a year ago, but ended up giving one to my son away at college and keeping the other in the truck of my car. They have come in very handy on several occasions as they contain many of the basic medical supplies that one uses to treat slivers, bumps, cuts, headaches and more.

Comments about REI Backpacker First-Aid Kit - Special Buy:
A little cheap in design for the price, but comes pretty complete. You can easily add to this kit as there is plenty of space for more essentials. However, be forewarned, this pack is NOT made in the USA as listed.
Does not look to be super rugged, but should do the job.
